Your QuarterMaster, xPVKW (Vikki), has secured rooms at Le Richelieu for the 2026 KOM parade.
FYI - The parade is early - January 31, 2026.
The hotel will be in the heart of EVERYTHING in 2026. The parade will stage at Franklin & Royal and end at
Barracks & Decatur. The after party will be at the Mint - 2 blocks from the hotel.
Given the location of the end of the parade route and the Ball, we fully expect Le Riche will fill - and quickly.
Word to the Wise: BOOK YOUR ROOM EARLY. Even if you are not sure you are coming: BOOK YOUR ROOM.
It is always easier to cancel a reservation than it is to get one.
The cost of rooms and parking are as follows:
Minimum 2 night stay. Base rate, per night:
Fri & Sat nights - King Balcony or Double Balcony: $159 per night, base rate
Thurs & Sun nights (aka shoulder rooms) - King Balcony or Double Balcony: $109 per night, base rate
Parking - $45 per night, base rate. (it's normally $50 per night, but they are cutting us a break - no bitching!)

This is the Krewe's Parade return to Le Riche as a group and all support will help reestablish us as customers there...
This is important! In the near future the KdV route will probably make a circle thru the Quarter and
out, placing Le Riche in an ideal place for Mondu!
We have been reminded by the New Hotel Management that, by law, there is
NO SMOKING or VAPING in the ROOMS, or on the BALCONY, AT ANY TIME!
The fine is $250 PER OCCURRENCE and THE OFFENDER WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE HOTEL.
If we don't follow the rules, the Krewe will be banned from the hotel.
Don't get us blackballed!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
"If a guest does not cancel a reservation within forty eight (48) hours before the guest's check-in date, then the Hotel may charge the credit card one night's room fee plus any applicable taxes."
There is also an Early Departure charge equal to one night's room rate, plus applicable fees, taxes and assessments. "Group shall be responsible for disclosing to guests this early departure fee..." You have been warned.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you are planning on making a reservation at the Le Richelieu Hotel please do so EARLY. Additional rooms cannot be guaranteed if we fill our block. But the sooner our block fills and the sooner we request additional rooms, the better our chances of getting some.
